The people behind our local businesses, charities and community groups are the local influencers who make real change in our town. My role is to support organisations to help benefit local people.  I can bring different organisations together, 'joining the dots' between local organisations, national and international business and Government Policies to help the area to succeed.

Supporting our local businesses is a key part of ensuring we have healthy high streets and happy communities.

Gleeson Homes’ Macaulay Park development

It was a pleasure to visit Gleeson Homes’ Macaulay Park development off Cromwell Road.  It’s a brown field site, so a reuse of previously used land and  is a great location near to the swimming pool and local shops on the Willows estate, and within easy reach of the town centre.&

Brenda Fisher Joins Water Rats

I’m thrilled to see that swimming legend Brenda Fisher has become the Honorary President of our local historic swimming club; the Grimsby & Cleethorpes Water Rats.

Blackrow Engineering

I recently visited Blackrow Engineering and was hugely impressed by the diversity in the engineering projects that they undertake. Company Director Gary Pexman and Sales Engineer Lewis Crowther took me on a guided tour of their Grimsby facility.

Working with Council Candidates

We’re always welcoming new members to the Conservative Party on a local level and it’s here that we get many of our potential new council candidates from. What I do is go out with these candidates into the local community and help them campaign, as well as discuss what I can do to assist them.

River Freshney Clean-up

A Very Merry Fishmas!

I invited pupils at Littlecoates Primary Academy to design my 2020 Christmas card. In total, 103 children at the academy took part, each one creating a beautiful depiction of Grimsby at Christmastime.
