Fish processing and food processing is an absolutely vital part of out local economy. I will be representing the industry in parliament at every opportunity, particularly as new global trade deals and negotiated and signed. The trade deal recently signed with Japan gives Grimsby smoked fish a geographical identifier which should increase demand for our products in Japan.
