Apprenticeships are a brilliant way of getting the experience and knowledge you need to thrive in a massive range of industries and sectors. During #ApprenticeshipWeek, we're celebrating all apprentices, and the contribution they make to organisations across the country.
In 2022-2023, we welcomed 1,210 new apprentices to our workforce in Grimsby and Cleethorpes, some of whom I met during my recent visit to CATCH, which works alongside local firms such as Greenergy, Uniper, Singleton Birch Ltd, Accsys Solutions, Air Products, University of Hull, University of Lincoln, Solenis and North East Lincolnshire Council. All of the apprentices I spoke with were enthusiastic, energetic, and an absolute credit to both themselves, and their employers.
