The absolute focus for our town this coming year is to start to start to see things happening.
I have successfully helped to secure over £88m of funding for the council’s regeneration plans. We now need to see them start this year.
During 2022 I met with over 100 local businesses and community groups. I helped them to receive Government funding and learn how to find new sources of funding for local projects.
There will be more investment in the town in this coming year. There are many projects involving businesses, Government and the council which you will hear about in 2023. They are all about bringing new investment and jobs into the surrounding area.
The constituency team and I have worked with approximately 2,500 constituents in the past 12 months. Since December 2019, we have assisted nearly 9,000 constituents with a wide range of issues.
The key to a successful future for Grimsby is everybody working together to allow local people to take advantage the new opportunities Grimsby has coming its way.
