On Tuesday 19th May I had a virtual meeting with Simon Clarke MP, the Northern Powerhouse Minister to discuss the Town Deal for Grimsby. I emphasised to the Minister just how vital this is for Grimsby. I was very pleased to hear him confirm that everything is still on track to provide the funding to regenerate Grimsby Town Centre. I will continue to keep in very close contact with him and other ministers on this.
