THE Government has announced that the revised tier for the North East Lincolnshire area, post lockdown, will be a Tier 3 High Risk.
Lia Nici, MP for Great Grimsby, said: “The infection rates for Grimsby are falling steadily now, which is great news. It shows that people have been being careful to ensure they follow the lockdown rules, but we need to continue to be vigilant as we come out into Tier 3 next week.
"If we all continue to work together to make space, wear our face masks properly where we need to and wash our hands thoroughly at every opportunity, we may see the rates fall more. If that happens it may give us a chance to be reviewed into a lower tier as we get nearer the Christmas period.”
