It was a great privilege to meet apprentices from Ørsted who visited Parliament as part of Wind Energy Week 2022.
Ørsted and other renewables companies play a vital role in Grimsby’s local economy. Apprentice programmes such as Ørsted's are very important to get Grimsby's young people into high-skilled careers. Industry in Grimsby is growing rapidly and it is key that we ensure that local people get these local jobs.
