I am working very closely with local charity CatZero to assist them in their work to get people into education and employment. The team have worked very successfully on their Full Families project, which works with families to improve the lives and engagement of children with education and personal development goals since 2017. I met with Sean Cahill, to talk through how we can get people in Grimsby to have higher qualifications and skills, for them to get into high-quality employment.
‘We are very grateful for all the help Lia is giving to support our work in Grimsby helping individuals and families overcome barriers which are holding them back.’ - Sean Cahill
CPO and CatZero have been awarded £147,125 for an Inclusion into Employment Programme to support people aged 16-plus into work through a bespoke programme of activities. Sean is keen to address the local employment gap, working with those not in work to get them into work. More information about these possible routes into work can be found on the CatZero website.
